The Washington Post is launching a new digital-only news brand for Millennial women. The Lily goes live June 12th, publishing original work and re-purposed content from its parent publication on Medium, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and in an email newsletter. Their advertising is a departure from the traditional, too, featuring only native ads distributed straight from The Lily’s own handles and living in their social feeds. Traditional media isn’t reaching young consumers, so we’re not surprised to see more digital solutions like this. (Digiday)
