Banks finally have their answer to Venmo. Zelle offers peer-to-peer payments with some added perks courtesy of the major banks backing them, like added security and cash-out transfers to your account within minutes, not days. Thirty banks have signed on for the service, and the tool is already active within Bank of America, Chase, and CitiBank. Zelle plans to connect with more banks and has a standalone app in the works—which will make it even more of a Venmo competitor. (Mashable)
