Young consumers are surprising Hollywood by actually going to the movies. The 18-24-year-old moviegoers going at least once a month has jumped 26% from last year, and teens and older Millennials saw an uptick as well. It’s still 1.5 million frequent moviegoers shy of 2012’s total, but after several years of sliding, the improved numbers are promising.
