Snap Inc. stock is feeling the love from Millennial investors. While seasoned investors may be “wary of the volatile, relatively high-priced stock of a company that has yet to report a profit,” data from Millennial-targeted trading app Robinhood indicates young investors are feeling otherwise. According to the app, “Trading activity…jumped by 50 percent on the day of Snap's debut, with more than 40 percent of those who traded that day buying Snap shares.” Experience with the app drove many to purchase, with one expert stating the platform taps into “the pride of ownership” of young investors.
