Looks like Gen X is really the generation addicted on social media, beating out Millennials in weekly usage. A recent Nielsen report has revealed that in the U.S., 18-34-year-olds spend an average of six hours and 19 minutes a week on social media, compared to 35-49-year-olds’ six hours and 58 minutes. The older generation is also just as likely to exhibit second-screen behavior: 40% of Millennials and 42% of Gen X post or interact with posts about TV programming on Facebook during an average day.
