U.K. kids have officially swapped TV time out for the internet. According to one study, internet use has reached record highs with children, with five-15-year-olds spending 15 hours online weekly, an increase of a little over an hour from last year. TV time, on the other hand, has decreased to 13.36 hours weekly, a little over an hour less than last year. YouTube was the most popular platform to watch content on, with 73% using the site, and 37% of preschoolers regularly watching as well. (Kidscreen)
