Facebook wants a piece of the esports pie. The platform currently has a deal with game developer Blizzard to stream games through Facebook Live, and The Information reports that they are now in talks to stream professional competitions of popular mobile game VainGlory. The esports market is expected to reach $493 million in revenues this year—according to esports research firm Newzoo—and 34% of 13-33-year-olds have told us that they believe esports is a legitimate sporting event.
