Instagram just got a little more shoppable. A group of retail brands, including Kate Spade and JackThreads, are testing tags that allow users to click on a product in a post to find out more details and get a link to buy—all without leaving the app. The new tags aim to create a more seamless shopping experience for users: An Instagram study revealed that 60% learn about products and services on the app, and 75% take actions after being influenced by an Instagram post like searching items or telling a friend.
