Today’s kids are “tolerant techies.” New research from Nickelodeon revealed that 93% of kids under 11-years-old say they would like to have a friend from a different group, and 81% would like to have a friend with a different religious affiliation. According to Nickelodeon, Kids were once taught to be tolerant. Now it’s almost part of who they are in terms of “acceptance and inclusiveness.” Bi-racial children now represent almost 17% of the U.S. population, and the majority of under-11s will be non-white by 2019.
