In our list of the top apps young consumers can’t live without, Instagram and Snapchat were neck and neck—but what do they feel about ads on both apps? According to a Survata analysis, most 13-34-year-olds are neutral about ads on both platforms, with more saying they rarely notice them than those saying they hate them. About 37% of young users can say they remember seeing a specific Instagram ad, compared to 26% who can say the same for Snapchat ads. However, Snapchat did beat out in Instagram in some areas: 64% say it is cooler than Instagram, and 67.3% say it has better features. (Adweek)
