Vine’s co-founders have already moved on to a new video app. HYPE, which they debuted on Product Hunt the same day Twitter announced the end of Vine, is a live video broadcasting app that allows users to add music and animations to their videos. Currently in the beta phase and being tested by a limited user base, HYPE will soon have to compete with the likes of Twitter’s Periscope and Facebook’s Live video. Co-founders Rus Yusupov and Colin Kroll sold Vine to Twitter in 2012 for a reportedly $30 million. (Fortune)
