The Millennial employment crisis might really be a liberal arts employment crisis. Years after the Great Recession, roughly half of college graduates 22-27-years-old are “underemployed”—but while youth unemployment is on the decline, liberal arts majors are being left behind. The job gap between those who studies humanities and those who studied STEM fields is “striking,” with liberal arts majors “two to three times more likely to be underemployed than those with engineering or nursing majors.” (The Atlantic)
