Amazon’s new 30-hour work week may set off a trend to appeal to working Millennials. The brand has announced that specific technical teams and managers will now have the option to work from 10am-2pm, with the same benefits as full-time employees. The effort is aimed at working parents, but can also appeal to Millennials: A 2015 study by FlexJobs found that 40% of Millennials would ideally like to work part-time for one employer, and a 2016 Deloitte study revealed that beyond salary, Millennials chose good work/life balance above every other reason to work for a company.
