Ok, the majority of Millennials are not investing—but those who do are willing to put in the big bucks. A TD Ameritrade study reveals that the average share price of Millennials’ stock portfolios is $146—the highest of any age group. Tesla, which goes for more than $200 a share, is among their 10 most popular stocks, and analysts say the generation’s interest in sustainability and responsible investing is behind its popularity. Boomer investors mostly stick to “consistent, dividend-paying stocks,” gaining the largest return of all age groups, but also share six of their top ten stocks with Millennials, including Apple and Tesla.
