Podcasts are replacing blogs for recent grads looking to build their brand. In the past month, 21% of Americans age 12 or older have listened to a podcast, a 75% increase since 2013, and many Millennials are now using the outlet to get their voices heard. The podcast Stuff Mom Never Told You has tripled their downloads from 2014, now receiving one million monthly. Not only is the mobile aspect of podcasts appealing to multi-tasking Millennials, but hosts of some shows says it allows for more one-on-one connection with the audience and higher engagement.
