U.K.

U.K. Millennials may be the first generation to earn less than their parents. This depressing conclusion was reached by a British research firm in a report entitled “Stagnation Generation,” which highlighted how “Millennials are falling behind in terms of wealth, earnings and home ownership.” The report cited the Great Recession and “a lack of productivity boosting training for young people” as reasons that Millennials will earn $10,600 less than Generation X in their twenties. Boomers in the U.K. were also 50% more likely to own a home by age 30 than Millennials are. (CNNMoney)
