Young consumers want to be connected at all times—even at 36,000 feet. A new survey from Honeywell Aerospace has found that the number of U.S. airline passengers fed up with in-flight WiFi capabilities has grown since 2014. For Millennials the standards for WiFi are especially high, and may impact their travel decisions: 73% of 18-34-year-olds choose flights based on WiFi availability, 83% find it important to have high-speed internet to stream content, and almost three in ten have switched from their preferred airline, because the alternative had better WiFi options.
