Cartoon Network is getting into the esports trend and live-streaming their first gaming competition via Twitch. Let’s Play Flooping Card Wars! will be a live tournament where participating gamers will be playing upcoming Adventure Time Card Wars Kingdom app. The original Card Wars game was inspired by a fake card game in the popular Adventure Time series, and has already been downloaded six million times. Live-streamed gaming competitions have been “gaining momentum across the kids business,” and even Disney has dived into esports programming. (Kidscreen)
