New online learning platform JAM.com is teaching kids the skills that aren’t taught in the classroom. JAM lessons will show users how to invent their own machines, cook like a pro-chef, and animate like the animators from Cartoon Network. Launched by education tech startup DIY Co., the site will host videos with “hand-picked” instructors, interactive quizzes, and a bot interface to guide kids through the lessons. Their animation course, which was developed along with an animator for Adventure Time on Cartoon Network, will give at least three students the opportunity to see their work used for the network’s promotions.
