NBC is teaming with BuzzFeed to get young viewers excited for the upcoming Olympics. The site will be producing content tailored for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and more to continue the upward trend of viewership among young audiences: between the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London games viewership among 12-17-year-olds increased by 25%. BuzzFeed has plans for videos like “Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio teaching Olympic athletes Portuguese,” and a “Class of 2016” yearbook featuring the competitors. (WHOtv.com)
