LinkedIn is targeting college kids with their new job-hunting app, LinkedIn Students. The app allows students to create a quick profile, search job postings related to their major, and network with alumni who may have insight to their career paths. It was created for students who don’t consider themselves professional, and who can get overwhelmed by the site because they don’t yet have content for a profile, or a network to connect with. Over 40 million college students are currently using the platform, and they are its quickest growing user base. (Re/code)
