Verizon launched their Go90 mobile video service last year, in a clear attempt to grab a bigger piece of the Millennial media pie. Though the app fell off the top charts on Google Play and the App Store, Verizon’s CFO reports they have seen “positive results,” and that this is “just the beginning.” Go90 isn’t Verizon’s first go around in the video space. Their video-on-demand service, and a once hopeful Netflix competitor, Redbox Instant had to be shut down in 2014. But the brand thinks they finally have what is takes to “differentiate [themselves] this time around,” (CNET)
