The Boomerang Generation has inspired a sitcom. Upcoming NBC comedy Crowded is planning to tell the story of the 31% of Millennials who are currently living at home…and the 80% of them that are “fine with it.” Writer Suzanne Martin was inspired by welcoming her daughters back home post-college, and blames the phenomenon on her own generation: “We made our kids our friends and the whole time we were doing it, people were saying ‘Don’t do that’… We created this whole thing and now we have to live with it.” (Deadline Hollywood)
