The Millennial generation has been bashed plenty, which might be one of the reasons they don’t even want to be called “Millennials.” But 2015 was full of significant moments for young consumers, with many getting Activated and speaking out about body standards, physical and mental health, female and transgender rights, and racism. Moments that made some Millennials proud of their generation this year include University of Missouri students standing together to combat racism, and the Millennial-invented system to clean up the world’s oceans.
