Though there is a small but growing Black Friday backlash, apparently some younger consumers want access to stores no matter what the holiday. According to a consumer survey, 18% of all shoppers would go shopping on Christmas day if stores were open past 6 p.m., and Millennials were even more likely to make store visits a part of their holiday with 30% of 18-24-year-olds and 27% of 25-34-year-olds saying they would shop on Christmas. (We’ll point out the obvious though, that still means the majority would not make December 25th a shopping spree day.) (Racked)
