Up Next is tapping into the way teens communicate to better prepare them for the next milestone in their lives: college. Created in partnership with the White House, Up Next is a text messaging based program that will remind high school students when to prepare for SAT/ACT, apply for college, and review financial aid options. Although there are current resources available to students, like .gov websites, Up Next is hoping to reach the 55% of teens who text daily, and reach them in a conversational tone: “Like an older peer, but not your mom.” (Wired)
