We’ve always known Millennials are attached to their phones, but did you know just how much? According to TNS’s global Connected Life study, 16-to-30-year-olds can spend up to 3.2 hours a day on their mobile devices. That’s almost a full day per week, or 49 days per year. For Millennials, 46% of this device time is consumed with watching videos and streaming television. Marketers should also take note of the “screen-stacking” phenomena. According to TNS, “A combined [marketing] approach needs to be made because people are actually sitting with a mobile phone or laptop while they’re watching TV.” (Marketing Mag)
