Code.org is harnessing the power of the force to teach kids to code.

Nov 11 2015

Code.org is harnessing the power of the force to teach kids to code. This year’s Hour of Code, an educational tutorial, is incorporating characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakensinto one of the online games that kids will animate. By moving pieces of code on their screens, participants will be able to move new character Rey, the already infamous BB-8 droid, or other franchise favorites. Schools across the globe will be teaching the Hour of Code in December, a week before the film’s release. (Smart move, Disney.) (re/code)
