Today’s parents might be worried about their kids’ online activities, but it turns out that kids are a bit worried as well. Pew found that 88% of teen social media users think people share too much information about themselves on social media. Younger Millennials have witnessed the negative impacts that oversharing can have, and it can also make them feel bad personally: 42% have had someone post things about them they can’t change or control, and 21% have felt worse about their life because of what they see on social media.
