Facebook has been strengthening their position in the competitive video landscape, and heating up competition against YouTube. Now they’re going after one of online video sharing’s biggest categories, and “YouTube’s most lucrative province”: the music video. Facebook is reportedly talking to record labels about deals that would put music videos in the News Feed, and introducing features that would make it possible to listen to and watch music videos while scrolling through other content. (TechCrunch)
