Young consumers are having a snack attack. According to a recent study, 80% of Millennials have eaten a snack in place of a meal in the last month. This “snacking revolution” could be impacting the way they shop, and increasing their “immediate consumption” trips to the store. Ypulse’s own research on the foodie generation’s eating habits found that during a typical week day, 13-32-year-olds are more likely to have a nighttime snack than dessert, and 56% say they have an afternoon snack.
