Millennials can be a tough crowd to please, and many assume that to grab this generation’s attention, content needs to be short, quick, and on a bizarre subject matter. However, a recent panel of documentary channels and production companies suggest these digital natives are more interested in authenticity and strong storytelling than length, and won’t reject subjects that previous generations enjoyed. Digital natives do need content that engages them quickly, but will watch longform content if it is compelling and “visceral.” (The Guardian)
