We gave you five rising teen stars to watch, and here’s another to add to the list: 12-year-old MattyBRaps has been rapping on YouTube since he was just seven, and his kid-proofed covers of pop songs (think hip hop Kidz Bop) are enormously huge hits with his fans. How huge? With dozens of videos that have garnered millions, even tens of millions, of views, each he has totaled approximately 1.2 billion views overall to date. Some of his covers have even earned more views than the original artist’s song. He may still be little, but his reach is enormous, and his followers, who go by the nicknames BBoys and Bgirls, can’t seem to get enough. (BuzzFeed)
