Millennials are starting to heavily influence business-to-business buying decisions, and they’re changing the way that B2B works. A new study by Google shows that 46% of potential buyers researching B2B products in 2014 were Millennials, up from 27% in 2012. They’re much more likely to use mobile and video to make their decisions, with 34% in 2014 using mobile across each stage of their buying process compared to 18% in 2012, and 70% using video in 2014, compared to 46% in 2012. As Boomers move into retirement age and Millennials’ buying power grows, we’ll continue to see their preferences change the way industries work. (Adage)
