The wealth inequality gap among Millennials could be more severe than it is among older generations. 720,000 workers 18-34-years old make up the 1% of Millennials who earn around $129,000 annually. This group controls roughly double the income of their 14 million peers in the bottom 20%. The majority of this One Percent are lawyers, followed by managers and CEOs. Software developers are the 4th biggest group of rich Millennials, and technology could continue to increase income gaps as “fewer and fewer people will be required to generate increasing amounts of income.” (Fusion)
