With SUV sales on the decline, and Millennials not caring as much about huge pickup trucks, Hyundai is looking for a new way to target young consumers.

With SUV sales on the decline, and Millennials not caring as much about huge pickup trucks, Hyundai is looking for a new way to target young consumers. Their new intergalactic styled prototype, the Santa Cruz, has been called the “El Camino for the crossover generation.” The brand sees the crossover as an opportunity to fill a void of “the unspoken needs of a growing Millennial lifestyle we call Urban Adventurers.” They’re defining these Urban Adventurer, as consumers who are active in their communities and have a “pioneering spirit” to make where they live a better place. The prototype has yet to be approved, as Hyundai awaits Millennials’ feedback before moving forward. (Slash Gear)
