Tinder, one of the most popular mobile dating apps, continues to shape the Millennial dating game, and they’re “growing and recruiting like crazy.” One big part of that growth is their first acquisition: ephemeral messaging app Tappy. All photos and chats on Tappy disappear after 24 hours and it is said to pull the “best features of Snapchat and Instagram to take a stab at replacing text messaging.” Tinder has an active community making 21 million matches a day, and is clearly working to provide those users the tools they need to stay on Tinder, rather than leaving to communicate on other platforms with different features.
