Tiffany & Co. has followed in the footsteps of companies like J.Crew, Target, Banana Republic and Cheerios, joining the movement towards supporting and normalizing same-sex marriage. The brand “synonymous with love and marriage” has featured a same-sex couple, and an actual real-life NYC couple at that, in their new engagement campaign for the first time. When we asked last year how it would affect their opinion if a brand they liked took a stance to actively support LGBT rights, 40% said they would like the brand more, and 28% said they would make a point to buy their products more often.
