By now, everyone knows that Millennial voter turnout for the recent elections was particularly abysmal. But the reasons why they didn’t turn out to vote are not as well-known. Recently a group of students set up a “non-voting” booth to find out why their peers appear apathetic. Visitors to the booth could choose or write a reason they didn’t vote, and received an “I Don’t Vote” button upon exiting. According to one of the project creators, “Most of the logic boils down to people saying 'I don't feel like my vote matters.’” (Fast Company)
