According to a recent study, 97% of 13-17-year-olds believe they will own a home, and on average they hope to accomplish this goal by age 28. This dream of home ownership contrasts with older Millennials’ real estate behavior, though today's Instant Poll indicates that home ownership continues to be a future goal for the rest of the generation as well. However, younger Millennials did witness the recession at impressionable ages and crave stability. Time will tell if these teens’ house hopes become a reality, but the same study found they may already be more financially savvy savers. (Time)
