When it comes to looking at photos on their phones, Millennials are gazing at their own selfies. 33% say “they spent most of their time looking at pictures of themselves while only 31% spent most of the time looking at a picture of a loved one.” The idea that Millennials are “in love with themselves” however, is merely a surface analysis. The generation has grown up in a time when these images are instantly available—a completely unique situation that might have resulted in similar behavior with previous generations if the technology had been available.
