The settlement is only the most recent in a series of similar cases that the FTC has brought against Amazon and Apple. The ease at which the next generation is becoming familiar with making these types of purchases on mobile (even though they currently might not be aware of what they are doing) speaks to the massive role that m-commerce will play in their futures—and ours.
