As equality minded as we know Millennials to be, this generation may be ignoring the topic of racism because it makes them uncomfortable. A study from MTV has found that Millennials are “committed to an ideal of colorblindness” —73% believe that never bringing race into the conversation would improve society. Only 37% were raised in families that spoke about race and even less (20%) would feel comfortable speaking openly about it. (Slate)
