Airbnb has been hinting at expansion into other areas, and they’re about to give consumers a taste of their future—quite literally. The hotel-disrupter is encouraging hosts in San Francisco to throw dinners for strangers in a pilot program that is looking to do for dining what the site has done for finding a place to stay. One early dinner charged $25 per person for a three course dinner. (Chicago Tribune)
