The next generation is being exposed to more mobile devices at younger and younger ages, and entertainment brands are evolving to keep up, with good reason: a new study has found that the number of kids using tablets in the U.S. has more than doubled since 2012, rising from 13% to 31% among kids 4-14-years-old. The report also found that kids’ usage of smartphones and tablets trumps all other consumer electronics, and 35% of parents said that their child uses a smartphone, another giant leap from 21% in 2012.
