Valencia, Spain has been voted the best city to live in, according to expats.

Valencia, Spain has been voted the best city to live in, according to expats. YPulse’s Employment and Career Goals Report found that 65% of young Europeans think it’s important to have flexible work hours / ability to work from anywhere. And with the cost of living crisis intensifying in Western Europe, more of them might leave their country in the near future for cheaper destinations. According to a new InterNations survey, Valencia, Spain, is now the best city in the world for expats to live in. Two other cities in Western Europe also make the top 10: Lisbon, Portugal in fourth and Madrid, Spain in fifth. The cities were rated by expats based on affordability, safety, work options, and the welcomeness of natives, among other qualities. Alternatively, Rome, Milan, Hamburg, Paris, and Frankfurt are in the bottom 10 of InterNation’s 50 surveyed cities. (Euronews)
