Dollar General is bulking up their toy selection this holiday season. YPulse research shows inflation is the biggest problem Gen Z and Millennials say they’re currently facing—and in response to this, we know more are flocking to dollar stores. Our data shows that 41% of young consumers say Dollar General stores are reliable and 39% deem them as trustworthy. While many did their back-to-school shopping there, more are gearing up for holiday shopping—and Millennial parents will be able to find some name brand toys for their kids. In an effort to reach families looking for holiday shopping deals, Dollar General stores will include the likes of Barbie, Lego, Fisher-Price, VTech, and Pokémon on their shelves this year.
