Winter is coming for NFTs—Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO are teaming up for a new digital collection. In a partnership with NFT platform Nifty’s, fans can expect the “Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm” experience later this year. They’ll be able to “build a realm” by “collecting customizable avatars inspired by characters from the series” along with items that give their avatars strength and protection, like weapons, companions, and other gear. Some collections will replicate certain scenes from the series and the platform will provide exclusive access to “thematic activities.” YPulse’s Buying Into Crypto and NFTs trend report data shows that 82% of Gen Z and Millennials say they already have / are interested in buying a brand collaboration NFT.
