Screentime skyrocketed among kids during pandemic.

Screentime skyrocketed among kids during pandemic. YPulse’s Millennial parenting report found that 70% of Millennial parents agree with the statement “I let my kids have a lot more screentime during quarantine, and still do”—and now data is showing they weren’t kidding. According to analysis of research done in the U.K., U.S., Australia, France, Chile, and Israel, all age groups increased their time in front of screens during the pandemic, but the biggest increases were seen in kids, with primary schoolchildren (ages six to 10) getting an additional hour and 20 minutes of screentime a day on average. This group also saw the biggest increases in leisure screentime, “not related to work or study.” (We blame CocoMelon.) (The Guardian)
