FaZe Clan is creating a weekly, SNL-style show aimed at Gen Z. Titled unFaZed, the weekly show will launch this June on Twitch, starring a plethora of internet influencers and celebrities from the TV, film, music, and sports industries. FaZe Clan describes the show as “the first-ever variety franchise born out of internet culture,” and new episodes will air weekly on Thursdays. A Big Brother-esque competition series dubbed FaZe1: The Warehouse is also in the works, signaling how the esports collective is doubling down on TV-style entertainment to engage with its Gen Z audience in new ways.
